Low Hashrate
What's happening: The miner is running, but the Hashrate is significantly lower than expected for the selected profile, or power consumption is fluctuating.
What to do:
- Auto-tuning is in progress. Chip auto-tuning takes 3 to 5 hours. During this period, the Hashrate may be uneven. Important: During auto-tuning, avoid sudden temperature changes and drafts in the room to allow the algorithm to accurately determine stable chip frequencies.
- Check chip temperature. The recommended Target Temp for most air-cooled models is 65 °C. As temperatures approach critical thresholds, the system automatically engages thermal throttling and reduces chip frequency.
- Check Hashboard status. In the Mining → Performance section, compare the Hashrate for each Hashboard. If one Hashboard is significantly lagging, check the voltage, power cables, and signal ribbon cable connectors.
- Verify settings application. Ensure that after changing the profile, the
"Save"and"Apply"buttons were clicked. - Enable stabilization functions in the Mining → Advanced section:
- Restart on low Hashrate: Automatically restarts the mining process if performance drops below the set threshold.
- Check domain balancing: Balances voltage between chip groups (domains) on the Hashboard.
- Auto retune on chain breaks: Automatically re-tunes frequencies when chip chain failures are detected.
Power Consumption Display Features (Watts)
Users often consider the Hashrate or Overclocking insufficient due to the power figure displayed in the web interface:
- Antminer S19 (air-cooled) and L7 series (APW12 PSUs): The PSUs in these series do not hardware-transmit actual current data. The value displayed in the interface is calculated (theoretical) based on the Preset table.
- Antminer S21, T21, L9, and S19 Hydro series (APW17 PSUs): These have a built-in digital telemetry interface and display real consumption.
- Recommendation: For an accurate assessment of power efficiency (J/TH) on S19/L7 series, measure actual consumption with external devices — current clamps at the electrical panel or a "smart plug."
