Troubleshooting

Miner does not start

What happens: After a power outage or reboot, the miner does not resume mining automatically or blocks the Hashboard startup.

What to do:

  1. Check the Restore miner state on boot function in the Mining → Advanced section. Make sure it is enabled.
  2. Make sure the Start miner in pause mode function is not activated. If this option is enabled, the miner always starts in pause mode and requires manual startup.
  3. Check the Pool settings in the Mining → Pools section. The miner will not start hashing without an active and available Pool.
  4. Check the status bar and logs for errors.

Hydro Miner Startup Features (Liquid Cooling)

The Firmware implements strict hardware protection algorithms for the hydro-circuit. Hydro series miners (S19 Hydro, S21 Hydro, T21 Hydro) will block Hashboard startup if:

  • Chip temperature delta exceeds 10 °C: The difference between the coldest and hottest chip on a single board is greater than the permissible norm. This indicates air in the radiators or uneven coolant flow.
  • Chip temperature above 60 °C: If the radiator temperature exceeds 60 °C during initialization, startup is canceled to prevent thermal shock.
  • Circuit temperature below 20 °C: "Cold" startup is prohibited due to sharp changes in the chips' current-voltage characteristics at low temperatures. The hydro-circuit must be preheated before startup.
