Working in Multiple Organizations
A single Pulse account can belong to multiple organizations at once — for example, a service engineer might manage farms across different clients, while a hosting client also maintains their own Personal farm. There is no separate organization switcher: everything is accessible directly from the standard site switcher. v1.0.0-alpha4
Site Switcher
If you belong to multiple organizations, sites in the switcher dropdown are grouped under their respective organization names. Selecting a site automatically determines the active organization context: the navigation menu, the Organization section, and available actions instantly adapt to your role within that organization.
If you belong to only one organization, there is no extra grouping header — a flat list of sites is displayed.
Independent Roles per Organization
Each organization maintains an independent role and site permission set for your account. For example, in your own company you may be the Owner, while in a client's organization you are an Operations Manager scoped to two specific sites. Permissions are always evaluated based on the organization of the currently selected site.
Your Own Workspace
An invited member works directly in the host organization and does not need to set up their own space initially. If you ever need your own standalone space, navigate to Account → General: the Plan card will state "You don't have your own space yet" and provide a Create your own space button. Clicking it opens the Personal / Business selection dialog (see "Personal and Business").
When Access Is Paused (Blocked)
When an Owner or Administrator suspends your access in an organization:
- you receive an email: "Your access to Organization Name has been paused";
- the organization remains visible in your site switcher with a Blocked tag instead of your role, but its sites cannot be selected;
- your other organizations continue to operate without interruption.
Upon being unblocked, you will receive a "...has been restored" notification, and access is reinstated immediately with your previous role and site bindings.
When You Are Removed from an Organization
- you receive an email: "You've been removed from Organization Name" — your user account remains active;
- the organization is removed from your site switcher;
- navigating via an old URL to that organization displays an "Access to this organization has ended" screen with Go to my account and Sign out options.
Go to my account directs you to your remaining permitted sites. If you have no other organizations and no personal space, it opens the account type selection dialog where you can create your own space.
Typical Scenarios
- Service company engineer maintaining equipment for multiple clients — a member with Operations Manager role across each client organization, with all sites unified in a single switcher.
- Colocation client with a home farm — personal farm under a Personal plan and Viewer access to their hosted miners at a data center, all under one login.
Notes
- Being removed from an organization is not the same as account deletion: removal only revokes access to that specific organization and does not impact your user account or other organizations.
- If you were removed accidentally, ask the Owner or Administrator to resend an invitation.
Managing Members
The Members section shows who has access to the organization, their roles, and accessible sites. Here you manage access: temporarily suspend members, restore access, modify roles, or remove users from the organization.
Organization Settings
Organization settings configure its name and description — defining how the organization appears to members in the UI, invitation emails, and the invitation acceptance screen. A recognizable name is especially helpful when members belong to multiple organizations.
