Mining
Pools
This screen is used to configure mining pools and manage their usage order. Here you set the main and backup pools, worker parameters, and authorization.
- Pools list: allows you to set up to three independent servers to ensure fault tolerance.
- Priority: the order of pool usage is determined by their position in the list. The miner always tries to work with pool #1; if it is unavailable — it switches to the next one. The order can be changed by drag-and-drop.
- Connection settings:
- URL: the pool server address and port (for example,
btc.viabtc.com:3333). - Worker: the worker name. Latin letters, numbers, underscores, and hyphens are allowed. Format: a string starting with one or more characters from this set, optionally followed by a dot and a suffix (for example,
wkr5b.s19). - Password: the worker password (often
