Device Management
Firmware
This section describes firmware installation, update, recovery, and removal functions for ASIC miners via Hashcore Toolkit.
Install firmware

Installs Hashcore/Vnish firmware on Antminer family devices.
If among the selected devices there are no compatible ones, an informational message is shown instead of the dialog — device compatibility with installation requirements should be checked.
The installation dialog includes:
- firmware directory selection
- build name and firmware version
- number of threads (controls network load during mass installation)
- if required — manual model selection (if auto-detection is not suitable)
Firmware files are tar.gz archives. No extraction is required: Toolkit asks to specify the folder containing the archives.
Update firmware

Updates Hashcore/Vnish and Bitmain firmware on devices.
- The dialog is similar to installation.
- If Bitmain devices are present among the selection — an additional Bitmain update file selection appears.
- If no Hashcore/Vnish devices are selected — folder/build/version fields are hidden.
Firmware commands without additional dialogs

Executed after confirmation:
- Restore firmware — launches Hashcore/Vnish on CVITEK platforms after device reboot
- Reset firmware — resets firmware settings to default values
- Remove firmware — removes Hashcore/Vnish, Braiins, Luxor from Antminer family devices
