Timeout Settings
The timeout settings group modifies characteristics related to waiting for device responses and the number of tasks launched in parallel.
- Network Timeout – a group of settings responsible for device response time limits. These settings can be overridden for each network group in the Custom Timeout tab within the group settings.
- Miner Discovery – short requests, usually not taking much time, are used for miner discovery on the network. Large values for this setting will make the network scanning process longer. At the same time, excessively small values will lead to devices being missed on the network.
- Connection Timeout – time limit for the device to accept a connection.
- Data Sending – maximum allowed time for the device to receive data.
- Receive Response – time limit for the device to send a response.
- Send File – maximum allowed time for sending files.
- Miner Discovery – settings that modify the pause time between statistics updates.
- Rescan Network After Every – number of statistics updates before rescanning the network group.
- Update Miner Statistics – pause time between device statistics updates.
- Batch Operations – default batch operation settings.
- Devices in Batch – number of devices receiving a command without pauses.
- Pause Duration – duration of the pause between batches.
- Advanced Settings – section containing settings that limit the load on the processor and network equipment.
- Number of Threads – number of system threads allocated for processing network data.
- Parallel Task Iterations – maximum number of network requests sent simultaneously.
- Task Timeout – time limit for operations to complete. This limit is used as a protective mechanism to prevent stuck requests.
