Device Statuses

HashCore Pulse uses a two-level status system for each device. The first level reflects device connectivity, the second — what's happening inside the miner. Together they give a complete picture of the fleet's state without needing to access each device individually.

Connectivity Status

Displayed as a colored icon next to the device name in the Workers list. Shows whether there is an active connection between the agent and the device.

StatusColorDescription
Online🟢 GreenDevice is accessible, metrics are coming in regularly
Offline🔴 RedDevice hasn't responded for over 5 minutes

When transitioning to Offline, all device metrics (hashrate, temperature, power consumption, RPM, uptime) are reset and displayed as --.

Miner Status

Displayed as a colored tag in the device row. Shows the current operational state of the miner. Statuses are unified across all manufacturers: Bitmain, MicroBT, Canaan, Innosilicon, and HashCore Firmware.

StatusColorDescription
MiningGreenDevice is operating normally, mining is active
StoppedGrayMining is stopped. Device is accessible but not working
AutotuningYellowPerformance autotuning is in progress. Only for HashCore Firmware devices
ErrorRedAn error has been detected. Requires operator attention
OfflineGrayNo connection to the device
UnknownGrayStatus could not be determined. Usually a temporary state during initial connection

Using Statuses in Practice

Quick Filtering

Click any status tag directly in the Workers table — the list will instantly filter by that status. For example, clicking Error will show only problematic devices.

Workers Widget on the Dashboard

On the site dashboard, the Workers widget displays the distribution of devices by status as a progress bar. This gives an instant assessment of the entire fleet's state without going to the device list.

Board Indicators

Each device row displays compact colored indicators showing hashboard status:

  • 🟢 Green — board is mining (Mining)
  • 🟠 Orange — initializing (Initializing)
  • 🔴 Red — board failure (Failure)
  • Gray — board is stopped or disconnected

Initializing and Failure statuses blink to attract attention.

Status Normalization by Manufacturer

Different manufacturers use their own status designations. Pulse automatically normalizes them to a unified format:

ManufacturerOriginal StatusPulse Status
BitmainNormalMining
BitmainStoppedStopped

MicroBTMiningMining
MicroBTIdleStopped

CanaanRunningMining
