Installing Firmware on Devices
HashCore Pulse allows you to install firmware on a single device or a group of devices directly from the interface — without the need to access each miner's web interface. v0.6.0 Installation is performed from a pre-prepared firmware set.
Before Installation
Make sure that:
- A firmware set has been created with the correct file for your device model. More details can be found in the Firmware Sets section.
- The devices on which you are installing firmware have an Online status.
- The farm agent is operating in Full Control mode.
Installing on a Single Device v0.6.0
- Find the device in the Workers list.
- Click ⋯ (context menu) in the device row.
- Select Firmware → Install firmware.
- In the dialog, select the desired firmware set.
- The system will automatically select the appropriate file from the set based on the device model.
- Click Install.
The operation is sent to the Activity Center. The device reboots during the installation process and temporarily goes Offline.
Installing on a Group of Devices v0.6.0
- Select the desired devices using the checkboxes in the Workers list.
- In the bulk actions panel, click Install firmware.
- Select a firmware set.
- Click Install.
Pulse will automatically select the file for each device based on its model and platform. Devices for which no suitable file is found in the set are skipped and displayed in the Failed tab of the Activity Center with the reason "No matching firmware found".
Installation Progress
The installation process is tracked in the Activity Center:
- The status of each device is updated in real-time.
- The overall operation progress is visible in percentages.
- Upon completion — statistics: successful / with error / skipped.
Typical firmware installation time for a single device is 3–7 minutes, depending on the model and firmware type.
Features and Limitations
- Firmware installation is not available for devices with Offline status.
- When installing on a large group of devices, it is recommended to configure operation batches in the farm settings to avoid network overload.
- After installation, the device automatically reboots — this is normal behavior.
- If the installation does not complete successfully, the device remains on the previous firmware version.
Firmware Sets
A firmware set is a collection of firmware files for different device models, grouped under a single name. Available since `v0.3.0`. Sets allow you to pre-prepare the necessary firmware versions and quickly apply them to devices without searching for files each time.
Overview
The Activity Center is a centralized log of all operations performed in HashCore Pulse. It displays the progress of current operations, the results of completed ones, and alerts requiring operator attention.
